How about you, how long do you want to be match betting?
Cheers[/quote]
i am doing it to save up for my wedding this year. i think i will do all the 'easy' uk ones and maybe move to the euro ones. i am a bit nervous about exchange rates! i am hoping some of the bookies send me offers in the near future to bet more money!
i am also going to have a look at casino bonuses. apparantly there is some good money to be made playing blackjack although there is a small risk element.0 -

Let me know if you think it's rubbish, too complicated, or simply boring
thanks
Too simple, get some challenges in there. How can something to do with paying off your mortgage early be boring......... I'm confused again
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Been a while since I posted, so thought I'd better shown my face.
As you can see by my signiture, my match betting profit is going well. Will pass the £1k mark today after my bets clear.
Why am I doing the match betting. Well, its a great feeling beating the system and is also a good little earner (make sure you know what you're doing first). What am I going to do with the profits?? Chuck at the mortgage I can hear you all say.
Well, am I going to do that. No
We moved into our house in May 08 so are obviously still decorating etc. So, we've decided I will earn enough from match betting to buy a very nice leather L-shaped sofa. This made the mrs
We can then sit on it, thinking this is the t*ts and it has costs us 'nothing'
However, that's not exactly what I'll do. I will get the sofa on 0%, chuck the money at the mortgage, and make the small monthly payments from our monthly income:rotfl:
I'm also considering buying an xbox360 from the profits. I'm not sure yet

Right, today was results day for the two tax papers and one accountancy exam I sat in December 08.
They are officially released online tomorrow morning at 8am. However, if you sign up to receive them via email, you'd get them today at 6.30pm ish.
So,..........6.30pm rolled by and nothing. So checked online and apparantly I'm not signed up to receive them via email. Even though I've had got them this way for the previous two sittings
This is sooooooooooooo annoying. It feels like I've got the envolope and just can't open it. GrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrMortgage started May 08 @ £144,499 for 35 yrs:eek: Must get mortgage sub £100k by xmas 2011

Congrats on the exams Determined! :T:T
I'll be following your diary with interest since we are in a similar situation. Our mortgage is currently £140,000 but I also have a £4k car loan and kitchen to finish which pushes us to about £145k.
I'm also matched betting and have just passed £1k like yourself. However, you seem to be managing to do it much quicker than me. How many bookies have you done so far?
What kind of match do you accept. I tend to go no lower than 98%.0 -
Hi Lister
Glad to hear you'll be following my diary. Lets just hope it's not too boring!
I've currently completed 25 bookies and working on another three. Not sure if this is a lot, but I think I've done OK. I don't think I will progress onto the other currency offers as I find it quite time consuming and stressful. For some reason I get annoyed with myself if I haven't got lots on bets placed. Guess that the money maker inside me telling me to get off my bum :rotfl:
I'll normally accept a loss of up to 75p ish on a qualifier. But it really depends on the size of the bet, tightness of the bookies odds, and how much time I want to spend finding a close match. E.g. I'm current working on the Gambookers offer where you have to place £850ish worth of bets. But the odds there are so tight, its really hard to get a match for say 2.5/2.5 As soon as I find one, the bookie slashes the odds. Its soooo frustrating. There's also a time limit of 30 days on this one, so a bit of pressure. (EDIT: Just got £277 on at 2.4/2.3 for a profit on a qualifier of £3.86. I've now completed £584 of the £850 wagering requirement for a very minimal loss of £1.62.Its funny how it can be going so bad and then so well!)
