Can i put an eye level oven on the floor?

Hi looking for some advice/help

I ordered a oven from a well known retailer and it was on offer so reduced a fair bit.

But as i ordered it over the phone i thought by the model number that it was a built under oven but looking in to today it is infact a eye level one.

Now the built in under is 720mm and the eye level is 887mm

I don't see why not provided the floor it sits on is not made of flammable materials.

You could build a platform for it to raise it up.

Dont think this would really work. What height is you worktop at, floor to underside of worktop? normally this is set at about 870 so there may not even be room and if there is i think you may have to rest it on something for the bottom oven door to open. Can you not put a 600 carcass where the oven is meant to go and add a tall larder somewhere in your kitchen?
