The only one I can think of for new arrivals to the UK is the HSBC Passport service which costs £6 per month0

If you are Polish Natwest do a Polish welcome account.

Refer to this link for bank account providers offering accounts that fit your purpose: http://www.moneymadeclear.fsa.gov.uk/pdfs/bank_accounts.pdf
In that website, I would recommend Barclays, LTSB, Halifax/Bank of Scotland, and Natwest.0 -

To continue Kavanne's post above me, the following banks also offer debit cards:- LTSB
- Barclays
- Yorkshire Bank
- Clydesdale Bank
- Co-op Bank
- Northern Bank
- Ulster Bank
PS - since your name is Barlcaysguy, I assume you work for Barclays.0 -
If you have a bad credit rating you will only get this with barclays

so just a cash card.0
