After receiving a letter from hsbc saying they will discuss our circumstances we had a phone call from them today saying they will not be paying out because they do not feel that we are in financial hardship.:mad: We have 50.00 a month spare funds but our debts (with 6 diffrent creditors) amount to 10.000. We have court notices against two of them as well. The only options I see available to me are either bankruptcy or take them to county court. PLEASE, any advice will be gratefully received.

There are clear rules concerning hardship and the Financial Services Ombudsman will take all these issues into account. If all you have is £50 left over and are incurring additional charges then it would seem you fit that criteria which means the FOS will take your case on or initially request HSBC reassess their initial response.
Simply request HSBC issue their final response letter and then forward the matter to the Financial Ombudsman.0
