Problems with L&C?

A good argument for face to face consultations I think.

Also for the recommendation of a particular adviser, rather than a firm, as I assume that whilst they have a set down "sales process" - within a firm of advisers some advisers will be better than othersAny posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0

I had to wait a while for my stuff to come through from L&C, though to be fair apparently the adviser had been off sick. When I phoned up to chase it they couldn't find my details on the system so tried to tell me I would have to go through all the questions again! I did receive it after about 5 days.
He did send me the wrong KFI though, and it took another few days to get the correct one emailed through.0 -
Crikey, it's been a long time since I've been here - good to see some of the old faces are still here, and that the quality of people posting is still excellent.
Most of you probably won't remember me, as other comittments have meant I am unable to visit this board as often as I like. I work for L&C, and should be able to deal with any problems you have regarding contact - drop me a pm and I will sort something out.
All I can do is apologise, the fact that we are incredibly busy is no excuse. We always try and contact people as soon as we can - but at the moment we really are experiencing huge demand - if I can do anything to help then,as I say, don't hesitate to contact me personally.
MortgageMamma (I'm not related to you am I ?), I have no hesitation in recommending people use local brokers - the last thing we at L&C want is to be a monoply - we think there is room for everyone...
Anyway, I'll keep my eye on things - drop me a pm if I can help, and again, I can't apologise enoughI work for a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Oh yes- Ding Ding round 2!!!!!
I am a fee charging WoM Mortgage broker.I now no longer give information and opinion within the Mortgage boards, because a number of posters who, having approached me professionally, agreed my fee-which has been been made very clear at the outset, taken my advice (normally cancelling a [home visit] meeting at short notice) have then approached one of the fee-free brokers on here to arrange the very same deal I have advised.Whilst I totally concur with the ethos of "money saving"- abusing the goodwill of a professional who provides a quality service is taking it too far! :mad:0
