American Express Centurian Card

Following on from the Good Looking Credit Cards thread, where the black American Express Centurian Card was declared the winner, does anyone here actually have one?

If so, what are the benefits compared to ofer AmEx cards, and other priority cards?

And if you have an AmEx Platinum card, would you be interested in being offered the Centurian?

Centaurian is only offered to a few super rich people. essentially you pay a BIG annual fee (ie heard it was something like 1500) but like your treated like royality, hotels,airlines etc... upgrade you blah blah blah

If anyone here has one i'd be suprised (needing to moneysave )

The card is invite only. I think the fee is about £650 a year, limited membership.

Also note there are a couple of competitors to the Amex Centurion. There is the NatWest Black credit card and the Coutts Pink Charge Card. However I don't think their benefits are as extensive as the Amex Centurion and they are not invite only (you need to pass a certain salary crietria and pass the usual credit checks). However to bank with Coutts you need to have wealth of something like £5million!

I put together an FAQ on another webiste I use because there were so many false judgements being made about Centurion. Helped by the fact Amex does little more than acknowledge the existence of the card. There are a lot more than 1500 holders, more than that in UK alone!

And Amex don't treat Cents like royalty!
