Well it doesn't work for all of us. I picked the checkout with the young lad and started complementing him on his looks and how nice his earring was. But before I could hand over any coupons my wife got really annoyed and stormed off

wrexham store (were i work) management say 10-12% of the bill if they are junk mail coupons. but up to 100% if you buy the item or its vouchers direct from the manufacture but they will not take internet vouchers.

You obviously didn't speak to him in a stern, motherly kind of way ('why you youngsters insist on mutilating yourself i shall never know - take these vouchers off my bill immediately then go and wipe the counter'). Maybe you should try lippy and a frock next time - I don't suppose your wife would be too happy, but so long as you get your discount....
