  • I emailed my local MP 2 days ago through www.writetothem.com and i summerised my case and what the problem was..in my case it was my case going into long term system error and i asked if he could help as folk on here told he should be able to. I am assuming that was correct..however, although i have received an email saying they have received my email, nothing else has happened.

I am meeting my MP on Saturday - I provided him with a brief (7 pages) history of my case, the reason behind my complaint and the ongoing problems since submitting my complaint.

I also provided NRP / child information in case he gets to speak to CSA before Saturday.

Thank you, will wait til OH gets home from work and we'll have a go at writing something.
I've got nothing to lose at the end of the day (after non payment of almost 9 years!)

If you follow this advice, you won't go far wrong. It's exactly the right thing to do. It worked perfectly for me when I did something very similar.

I went to see my local MP who is Margret Beckett. She was in the cabiney at the time. She said very little and wrote donw all the issues..... she ended up just posting the responce from the CSA back to me. It made no difference. Hopeless!!!! a waste of space and tax payers money IMHO:confused:

Ah! The perils of having a cabinet minister as an MP. S/he won't have as much time for constituents problems and in any case will be likely to slavishly support the government line. You need an opposition MP or a proper independently minded person from the government party (currently, someone like Frank Field or Kate Hoey).
