I am starting a new business, providing support for new businesses. I need to open a Business Account. Do any of you wise people know which bank offers the best support and account for new businesses. I am a total newbie at Business Banking

'What's the best account' threads are impossible to answer! It depends entirely on your own circumstances, e.g. whether you need to pay in cash/cheques on a regular basis (some banks will charge you, or take ages for them to appear in your account), or if you need to write cheques, make BACS payments ... The list goes on, and every bank is different.
The best thing would be to go to a few banks and find out what they can offer you. Abbey and Halifax/Bank of Scotland generally have fewer charges than places like Natwest/Barclays, but it really depends on the sorts of transactions you need to do, and the frequency.0
