  • Morning ladies...

Sally - have fun, it sounds like a rivetting laundry task :(
Rugbymum - hope you all feel better soon
Tenmah - are you in work yet?
SuzySu - hope you got a decent price - GL on your F&F
Karmacat - welcome! I am a bit infrequent on here but I'm usually five pages in so never get to speak to everyone, soI'm making an effort today. My friend got F&F when she told the company she was emigrating and would the accept 60% to close account there and then. She did it on loan and 2 CC's I think.
Bunny - Hope you are feeling better hun :)
Pooky - still got you impregnating redsquirrel in my head

I've got a mysteryshop lunch today - taking a friend I haven't seen in a while so should be nice. Then I might pop into town to find a tankini (don't have midriff for bikini). I had a £100 budget to spend on clothes for my holiday, and managed to buy two cocktail dresses from ebay last night for less than £11 for the two!
  • Maz - thats awful. My dad died when I was 7 so I try really hard to live for the day, especially where my children are concerned.

    Morning RedSquirrel.

awww caroline... that must've been tough. I do wonder how friends son will cope, she says he is coping well, but i can imagine it will come to a head sometime...

Anyway, as my maudlin-ness seems to have killed the thread a little.... change the subject!

Payday today, phew thank god, it was a 6 week month!!!!!! the powers that be do not live month to month so they are not thinking the plebs would have appreciated being paid a week ago.....

never mind, nice short 4 week month and then it will be manchester meet time!!!!

Off to pay some bills! tick some things off my list as paid! i love this day of the month.... 18 months ago i didn't have enough to cover all my creditors and it was a case of who shall i not pay this month, thankfully (thanks to this site!) those days are gone....

Tell me about it, seems everyone's a bit down today. I'm trying to muster the enegery to go and actually do something - veg man will be here in a bit and I'm still in my dressing gown.

Still a few days before we can tick more stuff - plus had a subscription to ebid go out unexpectedly - wanted to sign up to lifetime before it hit, but missed it grrr - now I've paid near enough what they want for lifetime for just a year, not very MSE...
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Current Pay Off Target : £1500

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
