Barclaycard simplicity

Hello everyone,
I have just read about the Barclaycard simplicity on the weekly tips mail and it sounds tempting.
From the wording of Martin's email it appears the transfer is fee free.
I.e. I transfer say £4500 onto the card at 6.8% for life costs me £4500
What I need to know is does it cost me just £4500 or do I need to pay any handling fee/BT fee?
It is not clear on the Barclays site because under the 'summary Box' it says:
Charges
* Cash: 2.5% (min. £2.50)
* Balance transfers and cheques: 2.5% unless we tell you otherwise
* Overseas transactions: 2.75%
* Copies of statements: £3.00
* Copies of transactions: £5.00
Secondly My debt is splashed across an HSBC card, Natwest card and Virgin card, am I able to BT from all these cards or do any fall under Barclaycard?
Thanks very much for your help.
I did search the forums first but couldn't find anything that answered my questions.

well, you have stated balance transfer as 2.5, so you pay 2.5 of what you transfer - so it's not free . plus the interest is 6.8 , so you pay 6.8 per cent on what is left of your balance each month . This is still one of the better ones . I think all they all charge a fee now .old enough for my bones to feel the cold .0

I'm confused about this too - Martin's article says it is a fee free balance transfer, and the Barclaycard website refers to the balance transfer promotional offer ... anyone applied / transferred and know what is actually available ?0
