How does Radio Times have an animated favicon.ioc?

The ability to use animated favicons is new in 1.5 and really annoys me.

There is no way to turn it off and it shows up in the bookmarks.

Just wait till lots of sites roll out animated favicons and your bookmarks move and flash like a Christmas tree

I never got them just checked RT in bookmarks. Its just a yellow background with black RT on it. I have 1.5 for a few months now.

The Radio Times one ony animates when you first open your browser.

Look at https://www.bugmenot.com
If you bookmark it then it keeps animating in your bookmarks menu

Oh I see what you mean in the window where you type the url in or go via a bookmark link. The RT revolves for a sec or two..

It's quite rare at the moment because not many people know it can be done.
The Radio Times was the first time I saw it when they introduced it last week
