I heard this guy on the radio today, a vet said what he does is very dodgy health wise.0
-
His argument is that it's healthy, organic meat with nothing artificial added.
I'm really not sure about it though!
My boss is a bit like this and has been known to pick up pheasants from the road and take them home for tea.0 -
This guy eats foxes and hedgehogs, it's ok if you know what you are doing but personally I would not eat any of his meals.

I've just been reading about this in the Guardian - I expect every labrador (and labrador owner) in the country will be whimpering/outraged/heading for the hills !

I seem to recall one or two regulars on these boards do this. I was aghast at the time, but having thought about it for a while thought...well why not?
The thought of picking up an animal so badly injured it died is so repulsive to me though. Yes I know I am a hypocrite as I buy nicely prepared bits of animal in the shops. The lives and deaths experienced by many animals we do eat are so much worse than what animals which have been run over have experienced. Is road kill really worst than battery hens etc etc etc?
But I still couldn't...rather wouldn't...do what this guy does myself, without even considering the health angle.0 -
He's right, it would be safe enough to eat, although I wouldn't relish eating some brock with half a dozen tyre marks on it.
By the way, Jet, you're a terrific bass player!Small change can often be found under seat cushions.
