  • My hubby and my office work mates think I am obssessed first with Tesco clubcard points and now Boots !!

Thanks everyone, I have been trawling through these pages about 15 of them and I think I am up-to-date with the current offers. My plan is to get 14 handwashes for £12.94 get 2100 points, together with the choccie/skin care voucher and then spend my points on the No.7 gift offer. Unfortunately, it's all dependent on whether I get the EI voucher, I remember at the beginning of the TD/DR offer I got a voucher for EI and used it but I do have OH's card so will try that one and keep fingers crossed !!

I looked on boots.com and couldn't see the EI range so here is a piccie of the EI French Lavender and Lilac hand wash - I think its always easier if you know what to scan the shelves for.

Does anybody know anyone that thinks what we are doing is illegal??? I have something on those lines said to me......they cannot believe it is all above board! The same goes with getting an r+r from Tesco.
  • I know, people at work think that Boots will have to put extra security for when I get near their branch :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: No I am not ripping them off :A
  • Yes Liverbird my colleagues in work don't quite grasp the concept of points and vouchers and yes I am sure they think it's well dodgy !! I tried to get a R&R just before xmas on one cd, the CS called a member of the hardware, who then walked over to the poster, then another colleague was called, I went back to the CS desk, the Manager was then called who then said OK give it to her. I was then given the refund on my credit card, when I looked at the CS lady she was writing my name down together with my amount of refund. I felt like a criminal but they had overcharged me !!! next time I went in there I had a security guard follow me around and this was on my 3rd misprice in 6 months. I don't look now as I am so timid I dont want the hassle or grief. My friend works in CS and she told me that in our local store, people who get r&r are considered on par with shoplifters. Sorry I've gone on abit now.

refund and retain......in a nutshell if you are overcharged in Tesco, they refund you all the money you paid for the item and you get to keep the goods! Read the Tesco misprices/discussion threads on grabbit for more info.

I will be brief cos this is the boots thread but if I went into Tescos and the SEL (shelf edge label) showed a packet of beef at £2.00 and when it went through the till Tescos charged me £3.00 it is a misprice as I have been overcharged. I would then go to customer services, tell they I have been overcharged, they would check my receipt and the SEL and if I was correct, they would refund me the £3.00 and I would keep the item too.

So I would have my money back and keep the item. It is Tesco policy check out the Tesco threads for more info. :rotfl:
