HCJ wrote:The EI items in my store are not reduced and are scanning at normal price (eg £2.49 for handwash) but the BOGOF offer is working. I know this because I asked for them to be price-checked yesterday. Has anyone else found the EI items at full price anywhere and do they know if the 150 points are still being added for each item in this case.
I am asking this because I want to try getting some tomorrow but I don't want to end up not getting the extra points. I am a bit suspicious because this is the same store that was still managing to charge full price for EI last month when everyone else seemed to be getting it going through the tills for free. Maybe their tills are set up differently for some reason.
But say even if the tills at your Boots are set up differently, surely the 150 extra points voucher should still work? It's obviously not as good a deal as most people are getting, but you're still getting stuff for free... (300 points for a £2.49 spend... not bad -- providing that the till would multiply the points from just one voucher...)
I'd say give it a go and see what happens - the tills might surprise you (in a good way!). What's the worst that could happen? You can always take the stuff back (embarrassing, I know -- I once took 12 shower gels back when a voucher didn't work, but I survived!

sarahAC machine offers tend to change on Wednesdays so I'd say there's a good chance of this loophole continuing for a few more days, but don't quote me on that!
(I'm planning to get some tomorrow too, so fingers crossed!)

I got a load of No 7 stuff half price from my local boots, and got the gift free still. SA looked a bit dubious about it going through the till, but she gave it a go and it was fine. Hope this helps! In a Den first, Theo Paphitis has been getting business information from a talking tree.0 -
