The EI items in my store are not reduced and are scanning at normal price (eg £2.49 for handwash) but the BOGOF offer is working. I know this because I asked for them to be price-checked yesterday. Has anyone else found the EI items at full price anywhere and do they know if the 150 points are still being added for each item in this case.

I am asking this because I want to try getting some tomorrow but I don't want to end up not getting the extra points. I am a bit suspicious because this is the same store that was still managing to charge full price for EI last month when everyone else seemed to be getting it going through the tills for free. Maybe their tills are set up differently for some reason.
Now I'm not at all sure about this, but sometimes when they do a price check on the Boots tills, the price that comes up is not the final reduced price -- could this be the case? It's not until you do a full transaction that you find out what the final price is...

But say even if the tills at your Boots are set up differently, surely the 150 extra points voucher should still work? It's obviously not as good a deal as most people are getting, but you're still getting stuff for free... (300 points for a £2.49 spend... not bad -- providing that the till would multiply the points from just one voucher...)

I'd say give it a go and see what happens - the tills might surprise you (in a good way!). What's the worst that could happen? You can always take the stuff back (embarrassing, I know -- I once took 12 shower gels back when a voucher didn't work :o , but I survived! :D)

Is the rumour true that we may be able to spend our boots points online soon.
I've heard the rumour but don't know how true it is... I really hope they'll do that -- I'd love to spend some of my hard-earned points on stuff you can only get online!

I don't think anyone knows for sure... AC machine offers tend to change on Wednesdays so I'd say there's a good chance of this loophole continuing for a few more days, but don't quote me on that! :o

(I'm planning to get some tomorrow too, so fingers crossed! ;))
  • doesn anyone know for definate wether you can spend £15 on reduced no7 to get teh gift coz ive been told different things by differeent SA's? thanx :)

I got a load of No 7 stuff half price from my local boots, and got the gift free still. SA looked a bit dubious about it going through the till, but she gave it a go and it was fine. Hope this helps!

Great, isn't it? I've been using AC for a long time now, and doing really well, but had no idea that this whole thing was going on!!

I've had a car seat, highchair, digital radio and camcorder, as well as numerous essentials and hundreds of lunches, courtesy of Boots. AND, I've still for £318 on my card!!!

It's great to be able to share in such a fantastic scheme (hubby doesn't share in my excitement!!) :j :j :j :j
