we can start working out the framework for how to put the offers. Maybe in 1st page Q & A , and also coding like AC...
then second message will be offers updated, every so often. Obviously we will have to look for things that are generic to most Boots, not the individual shop offer. What do you think?
Sounds good to me, although it's really up to the poor soul (hi Liverbird :p) who has to update it! Although with "cut & paste" it should hopefully not be too much work.

And when this thread gets too big, there's no point someone starting Thread No 7 (a very apt Boots thread) if they're not going to update that thread too.

As a general rule, I'd say keep it snappy and "plain english".
By the way are you in brum, there are a few of us in this thread...
Certainly am! Sutton Coldfield, where are you then?

HRH Bedshaped lives local too I think.

    Sounds like you had:-

    700 Bonus points for
    4 x Lynx Shower gel £4
    3 x FCUK body spray / shower gel £5.25

19 normal points (remember it's 1 point for every whole 25p spent)
    3 x Ts Glosser £3
    2 X Hair Science £1.99

TS Glosser would seem to be a hair product and Hair Science certainly is. Not sure whether you're saying the SA only put one voucher thru or if the till only accepted one?? You should certainly have got 100 points for Hair Science though.

But surely you get normal points on your total spend - ie. £13.74, even if you get coupon points on top? That's always happened before.
SA tried putting more than one through, till beeped so couldn't, but at end I'd got them anyway. I didn't give coupon for Lynx - I gave 3 for TS, 3 FOR FC, 1 for Hackett and 1 for Hair Science, so should be 800 +normal 54? Didn't have hair points voucher, whatever that is?
    I'm happy anyway.

Tried for the EI Coupon again today but no joy! Noticed lots of MSE's have been out in Bristol cause not much EI stock left! I think I saw one of you on Avonmeads with a basket of EI and her Mum with a basket of Bodyform!
However I did try the mens toiletries for £10 offer. I bought 5 items 1 = Hackett, 1 Ted baker, and 3 Trevor Sorbie and handed over 1x100 points for Ted Baker, 1x100 points for Hackett and 1x100 points for Trevor Sorbie, and I got 500 points. So this appears to work the same way as the EI, where it's 1 voucherbut you get it per product!! Also in Emerson's Green Boots they had some of the trevor Sorbie mg products were reuduced to £1 - including the glosser and wax stick. So 10 of those for £10 - £4 offer = £6 = 1000 points with 1 coupon! I did notice that the Cribbs Causeway boots had the same producys for full price tho!
    Thanks for that info [/bBristolfarmer[/b].

From what people have said, it seems that the AC vouchers when combined with the "Save £4 when you spend £10 on Men's Toiletries" offer take 100 points off for each item.

If we ignore any sale/reduced item which will vary from store to store, the cheapest way to maximise your points that I can think of is to get a Trevor Sorbie "100 points AC voucher" and buy 4 Trevor Sorbie Mint Lip Balms @ £2.50 each = £10.00. This would also be something the girls could take advantage of for themselves.

Doing this, you'd pay £6.00 and get 400 bonus points back. :)

You'd then need to spend at least £4.00 extra - to take your total spend over £10.00 - if you want to also get the £5 skincare/99p choc's voucher.

    Hope the above works.

I thought so too, but it seems not.

I was referring to the 100 points on Hair Science voucher.

But if you're happy anyway, that's the main thing!

That's not fair! You're virtually drowning in Boots branches what with Harborne and all the City Centre ones. :)

ya... but when we had the TD offers, there was nothing around, and ended up buying things I didn't really want... I am thinking of returning some. Do you think it will be easy? I am not sure how it will work

Visited boots on my way home and still the advantage machines are offline. I'll have to try elsewhere whilst I'm away this weekend.

I don't mind if the three of us work it out together. Maybe putting all the offers on the fitst page with a FAQ after it ??? Open to ideas!
Obiviously we cannot put all the offers on, but we can keep to the most important one.... will put the Anbesol one one later.

Another point.....maybe it will be better to keep the ideas sent by either pm or swap email addys. I am also on MSNmessenger to meet up on. Saves clogging this thread up.
