Perhaps someone could volunteer to be the moderator for separate discussion and bargain threads - not sure how this works, and certainly not putting myself forward - DH will hide the keyboard if I spend any more time on here than I do already!

    Just a thought though! :D

  • I got 10 EI items today and earned 1500 points, also got my chocs for 99p.

Could anyone tell me - If I went again tomorrow would I get another EI voucher in the machine or do we only get one each full stop?

    Thanks,

    Loopy x

Why cant we just show some restraint and set two threads up with the same titles as the argos threads and just post offers in one and chit-chat and how to get the most items from an offer in another, after all its us who fill the threads up not the ops

I remember a while ago we had a discussion about setting up a separate Boots board - like the Argos one - but it would be extra work for the mods, and so I think it got put on the shelf for the time being.

Good idea in theory.. but even the specific 'offers only' threads on here soon end up with discussions in them..

I manage to keep up (eventually) but think having all the offers on first page would be helpful.. but then the onus is on one person to keep updating it..

No voucher in the machine for the 150 points for me again today, I tried two boots and both machines in both stores, yesterday and today - must be just for certain customers

Fair enough really, but would have made the offers a bit easier to spot.. Good idea to post all the bargains on the first thread.. But you will be awfully busy updating constantly Liverbird!.. How about people posting the bargains/offers in bold text to make them stand out a bit more from general conversation?..

Good idea! Or even posting the bargains at the beginning of their post, before the main chat? Its a case of educating everybody I guess!

    Please help!

Went to boots this morning and bought 12 EI products young assistant put them through and I gave my coupon but said it was too late and that I should have given it to her at the begining of the transaction, making out it was my fault. I am a fairly quiet person and did not want to cause a scene and collected my 45 points and walked away as a lady was waiting to be served. Please advise. I don't really want to go in and refund all and have that hassle
How ridiculous! Take the stuff back- if you've got the voucher buy it again at another till, or even at that one. I have frequently messed about at the till to get different offers and the sa's have been really helpful- I always hand in vouchers at the end- they can scan them no problem.
Was this in Chelmsford? Maybe it was after I had been in and got woman annoyed by asking her to check if the Kangol boxers (£3) with deodorant would count as Men's toiletries.
She said it was on the back of the voucher that it excluded sale items. I said - What voucher? All it says on the ad is excludes blades. She wouldn't try for me- I'll be back later.
pm me and I'll go back in with you( although if its the same sa that might be a disadvantage :o )
