I gave the customer care line a call earlier to confirm that I was on the Boots mailing list. They said that I was, so I asked them why I have never received anything and I have had my card for 3 years. They said that different mailings are sent out to a certain percentage of card holders, which are chosen at random. But I thought that everyone on the list is meant to receive some mailings, eg the double points coupons at Christmas. Could anyone confirm this?

I've never had a mailing from them either.

Many thanks for the latest top tips in How to Fill Your Boots! :rotfl:

I managed to get to a larger branch today and got an EI voucher from the machine...I never found the stuff the last time there was a deal with it but they have moved everything around and ta-ra - there it was - the £1.66 stuff somewhat depleted but still 4 bottles left and many items at £1.99, and of course all on BOGOF. So I bought 14 bottles of various - hand cream, hand wash and body wash in various scents - will take some to work to treat the girls! For that Boots kindly gave me 2100 points for a spend below £14. I also bought the No 7 deal at the same time - I spotted a sun wipe thingy for £1.50 that made it possible to buy 2 eye shadows I DID want without buying anything else I didn't - and I can make my pasty legs look slightly more interesting the first time I put them out on display this year...

...I digress...so I got the very nice No 7 free gift, the skincare voucher - got the TD wipes for #1 son to remove stage make-up (lol - he is only 18, he will look 8 at the end of a week's performances using Time Delay!!!) :rotfl:

...also got the Lindt Lindor chocs for 99 pence and 25 points for buying my Meal Deal for tomorrow's lunch...oh, and the 99p paracetemol so that I felt that I could pay at the pharmacy counter...

So all in all a very nice deal for a £34 spend - nearly £24 of points in total (with total spend voucher from machine), £33 of free cosmetics, box of choccies, skin wipes, make up, all the EI I could possibly want...and headache tablets to help me recover...

PLEASE don't tell me that I missed out on somehting because I REALLY REALLY studied hard for this trip, tee hee... :T

Dont worry, I think you passed with Honours

Did you register with pigsback to get the free voucher for boots, or were there any special requirements?
thank for the help !!

Hi, you have to register on the pigsback site, then 'save' points until you have enough for your choice of reward. If you look on the 'freebies' board there is a thread entirely for pigsback with a much better explnation ;)

I tried to get the coupon for EI in Kettering Boots but it didn't give me one. The EI stuff is marked as BOGOF and is displaying the reduced prices for some scents but not all. My bottom lip hit the floor when I realised I couldn't get a coupon as I'd spent ages looking for the products.

As annoying as this is (and I still haven't had one either) history shows that they'll be something else turn up soon. There always is! :)

Don't forget to remove your vouchers from these. Valid 1.2.06 to 24.4.06. I was about to wrap one up as part of a present this morning when I remembered reading on here about the 250 extra points voucher inside. My niece won't use it so her Auntie might as well :D . With so many No 7 items reduced it might be worth using it now.

I might them treat my self to some foundation is n7 any good. My problem is that I am very impatient, have no time to bother and normally put make up while driving. Any ideas of users will be good.

I've recently bought (with £5 off voucher) the No7 Uplifting Foundation.. would recommend it.. very nice!

Has anyone checked their AC after receiving their Toni & Guy stuff that was giving extra points online? The invoice I received with my order today shows I earned 500 points as a result of Multi-Buy purchase.. It states 1079 points on my original order confirmation email?!
