Sorry Highland Lass and Chachiluz - I feel bad now - I like it when everyone gets a bargain, or even better a freebie!

mummysaver - the current offer on men's toiletries, using AC vouchers, plus skincare & choccies voucher must be the golden oppurtunity to convince any DH that this is a good idea.

Perhaps you could convert your current savings from Boots Points into Boots Pints - this is the equivalent amount in pints of DH's favourite drink. That'd convince him! ;)

He has sensitive skin, so most of the men's goodies go to DS  I don't think he'll ever be a smelly teenager, at least not a bad smelling one :D

DH is just pleased now that whilst I'm busy not spending money in Boots, I'm not spending it anywhere else either!

May try the pints thing, but think that I'll buy him a nice shiny new Ipod with my points when I have enough - DS disappeared with the last one I got with the points, he took the bag from the chap in Boots and that was the last that I saw of it, think DH is secretly jealous and would like one of his own

Now all I need is another EI voucher to help boost those points again!

Just called customer care about mispriced EI in my store and they promised to give me 50 points. I know, it is not a lot - but it is still gaining, not loosing!

Is that the one where you suddenly find yourself 20 miles from home, on your hands and knees in a strange chemist trying to reach for some reduced handcream on a bottom shelf?

    Nowt mad about that! ;)

I love BOOTS!!! (at least today)

I have just came back from Boots. I decided that it is time for me to gather all my courage and try to get all the points I can. EI in my shop was priced £2.49 for h/wash and £2.99 for b/wash and lotion. I asked to check the price and photo counter and it was priced at £1.66 and £1.99. So, went back to the shelf and filled my basket with:

    5 h/washes
    6 b/washes
    5 lotions

I picked different ones, so I'll make up gift sets of b/wash+h/wash+lotion. I also bought some evian face wipes (at £2.99), cotton wool (2 for £2.00, thus saving £1.14) and Lindor using voucher I got earlier (so, £0.99).

Total to pay £21.24. Used £15 of Boots vouchers from Pigsback, so actually paid just £6.24. Total saving today - £18.57. And I got skincare/choccie voucher as well.

The best part - I recieved 2573 points!!!!! So, I have now 5394.

I am also thinking to call customer services to complain about misprice. Any thoughts on that?

Glad that the no 7 black bags were still in stock when you all looked, now it's going to be even easier to recognise each other: very very young looking (TD/DR), very clean hands (EI) and rather glam make up (no 7)! :rotfl:

Had a dream last night that I got pregnant (not possible as other half has been sorted!) and the first thing I did was rush to Boots to join the parenting club thingy so I could get some freebies!!!

Think I possibly need to lie down in a darkened room for a while, or stop reading these Boots threads!!

Last night I dreamt I went to Boots, couldnt see any EI stuff so asked the SA if there was any out the back. She asked how much I wanted and I said "I'll have 16 handwashes if they are half price but 8 if they arent"

I think we need some kind of support group setting up:o
