Zavvi Student Discount?

I know Zavvi has now gone into Administration and are not accepting Gift Card's but have they publicly said that they are no longer accepting the Zavvi Student Discount Card? It say's that it is valid until 31.08.2009 on the back of the card but will Zavvi even be trading then?

No chance they'll be trading by then i'd say, wouldn't surprise me if they refused the discount card as well, the creditors will be wanting every penny they can get! there's probably no obligation to give it either as it was just a goodwill thing anyway.

They have not accepted Student Discount cards since going into Administration. The only possibility of it being valid again is if they get bought out and the new company decide to keep the student discount scheme. They don't have to. Also if this were to happen there would be no 25% off everything sale and everything would go back to full price so your better off now than you will be if they start offering student discount again.

Ok thanks. I just wanted to check. I don't usually shop at Zavvi (stuff was too overpriced, not supprised they're gone into administration)but I thought I'd check as I'm going into town today.
