I agree with what others have said, I think the time has come, do you have any money tied up in the house? any profit at all? maybe if you sell it that could pay off your debts? if you were to rent it out how much would you get in rent?
Unless you get more money in 1k a month I would guess, you can not carry on.
There is always a way out, maybe not the way you want but a way.Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!0 -
One thought, probably impractical but could you rent out a room or rooms in your home?

Hi, this is my first post so please bear with me! I just wanted to let you know that we have been with CCCS since May last year and it has really helped. They also seem to be one of the better known debt mangement companies. I work for Barclays and was told "hush hush" that Barclays have some kind of special relationship with CCCS and will generally accept any plan that they put forward.
Me and the hubby have between us 6 credit cards, a loan, computer credit, sofa credit, car credit, 2 overdrafts, and a catalogue debt. It had got to the stage where we were taking cash out on one card to make the minimum payments and i used to lie awake at night worrying how we would eat, keep the house and pay all the bills.
CCCS went through our budget with us to list essentials, which included making the car payments in full, the remaining cash, £285, is allocated to our creditors, as we were previous supposed to be paying over £600 in minimum payments you can see how much difference this makes! We should be debt free by the end of 2008 and i can sleep now. It's also really helpful if anyone rings to flog you something you just say you are on a debt management plan and they go away very quickly! I hope you get your situation under control soon, best of luck, xMadison's mum

Hi there Poppy
That lightbulb moment is really tough, and especially so if yuor OH hasnt had is yet! Thinking of you... Do you have anything, baby clothes, CDs DVDs, your clothes etc that you can list to sell on ebay, any extra coming in will really help. Try not to be defeated by the scale of the task.
Best of luck. xMFiT-T2 no 66. To clear £61000 mortgage by 10 Dec 2012new balance 5/11/12 £18000Not going to make target but still delightedBig debt £24500 Lightbulb moment Aug 04 :eek:All paid off 20.12.06 - YEEESSSS!!!!!!:j0
