Kenyan-born folk music stalwart Roger Whittaker has quietly become a multi-million selling artist across his lengthy career, and this CD assembles some of his most popular works to date.
The likes of 'Streets Of London', 'I Don't Believe In If Anymore' and 'Dirty Old Town' showcase a more weather-beaten and gruff style of song writing, but tracks like 'Mexican Whistler' and 'Quel Monde Merveilleux' display Whittaker to be equally capable of lighter moments.
Whittaker has become famous for his distinct whistling ability, something he incorporates into many of the songs on this collection.
