Hi
i've been reading all about the different types of insurance and how to go about getting best quotes etc.
i have arthritis (age 37, 20 ish yrs left of mortgage).. its rheumatoid, and i've had a few operations due to it..
does this mean i have to get 'advice' or can i still get a quote from the likes of Cavendish etc?
am not looking for CI but just mortgage protection or Level Term.
thanks

you can go through the non advice channels. However, you will have to guess which company will treat your conditions most favourably as you wont be able to phone the underwriters up as advisers can.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

You would be more in need of advice rather than use the "likes of Cavendish"Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Hello JoS71,
Cavendish are perfectly happy to assist you in finding a suitable policy and we frequently speak to underwriters on behalf of customers to ascertain the best terms that might be available.
Obviously commission is paid on any increase in premium that you may incur, and so using Cavendish will have an even greater £ benefit to you because commission is proportional.“Official Company Representative
