    Hi,

Just had a nose through your diary. I recently went on a career transitions course and although I do not need to work around kids myself, I picked up some really good advise. The chap said don't just limit your job search to jobs that are part time/fit around your timeframes. Go for the jobs you really want to do, and then if you are successful try and negotiate part time/flexible hours. If they really want you then normally employers will give it a go... sounded odd but the more I thought about it the more I realized when I have employed people in the past, once I've had them in, decided I liked them and then offered them the job, I don't really want to go on the hunt again (when I've already found someone who fits the bill) and I do pretty much anything they want so I can have them...

    Its worth a shot perhaps?
