Premium Bonds draw dates

Does anyone know the best time of month to buy and sell premium bonds as to make sure your bonds are in the monthly draws?

I can't find the answer on the NS&I website.

  • Buy them when you like, from what I remember your cash has to be in a month before you get into the draw.
When you withdraw you fill in a form and nominate the month you wish to cash out after, you will have the money in your bank within a few days, they are fairly quick and reliable.

Any bonds bought on or before the 31 Jan, will be eligible for the March draw.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

You buy them towards the end of a month .... so you're parting with your money as late as possible :-

...... and you sell them early in the month - in order you get access as soon after the previous draw as possible?
