that looks brilliant for the money but i feel its another gadgety use once leave in the cupboard thing.
I have a microwave steamer that i bought from the market, have had it for years and i wouldnt be without it

I bought a riceworks rice cooker from Argos for £9.99 last week and it is very good,takes 12 mins and the rice is perfectly cooked,at that point it switches from "cook" to "warm" then it keeps it warm till you need it.

This is how all rice cookers work.

Agreed though, the Argos ones are good value.

Can it do various types of rice? Brown rice? Sticky Japanese rice?

Yes - all rice cookers can cook these types of rice.

The Argos Rice Cooker is often on offer at £9.99. I've got one too and absolutely love it. Would recommend getting one of these if you can wait until it's next reduced.

I got one of the cookworks rice cookers at £9.99 and they are fantastic - no messing about - put rice and water in and leave it do its magic.
