To the OP... is there actually such a thing as a one-bed semi???????

I agree with those who say you shouldn't believe the agent... your house probably has lost value. Pay down the mortgage.

I dont understand why people are desperate to believe everyone is currently losing money on their properties...

Heaven forbid some people actually spent a long time trying to find a place with potential, waiting on the market faultering and then offering less than the asking...

The house is fully rennovated with new kitchen, bathroom, heating, off street parking with a large garden and scope to add a two bed extension on the gable end... but yea... its worth less than 85K

Theres an identical house around the corner, that needs a full rennovation is on the market at a fixed price of 95K...

Im not saying they'll get that, because its unlikely.. but to suggest that mine is worth more than 10 grand less in immaculate condish is hilarious!!

At the end of the day Im not fussed what mine is worth right now because I have no intension of selling it. The plan is buy another place in the future and rent this out if we can. Or just put an extension on this.

It just bugs me that people are scared of hearing about people who might have bought a bargain over the last year.
