Which Bank Acc offers the most benefits?

I have recently changed my Premier Current Account to a Premier Direct account with Alliance & Leicester. With this previous account I was entitled to free annual travel insurance (excluding winter sports), but when I changed to the Premier Direct account, although there was a slight increase in the interest earned, I lost the free travel insurance.
From looking on the web and speaking to collegues, it seems that there are alot of Banks and Building Societies that not only offer travel insurance, but free mobile phone insurance as well as other benefits.
Which Bank is currently offering the best benefits?
Many thanks in advance for any help!

"The best benefits" entirely depends on what your requirements are.
Take the Halifax Ultimate Reward account for example. They give travel insurance, RAC, mobile phone insurance, discounts from car/home insurance. But if you're not going to use half this stuff, there's no point in having it, as it won't save you money. I don't drive, I don't own my own home, and I have a fairly cheap PAYG phone, so there'd be no point in me having it at all. But for all we know, you could save money. No one can say without knowing your exact circumstances.
Add up how much you would save per year over what you do at the moment, and compare it to the cost of running one of these accounts for a year. If you are sure it will save you money, switch, otherwise stay where you are.0 -
All these other accounts normally charge a monthly fee0

What are you looking for? I have actually just switched from A&L Premier Direct to Premier. My first year special interest rate ended and the Premier account offered the same interest rate (in fact, it is now higher since the last base rate cut) with travel insurance as an added bonus. Now that base rates are so low, I don't think there is such a thing as a high interest current account other than for a promotional period at the start. However, I am willing to be corrected!0
