Switch to Sky Line Rental - 3 months free!

I am an existing Sky customer using their Sky Talk package but still using BT for my line rental.

I have just asked Sky to take over my line rental from BT because it is £1.75 per month cheaper and I get free Caller Display, which is useful.

I was very pleased to find out they have an offer on at present and by making this change I get 3 months FREE line rental - worth £30.:T

If you are thinking of changing I suggest you do it soon.

I am thinking of changing my line rental from BT to Sky as I am also using their Sky Talk package. However, if I do will I still be able to use the 18185 prefix for daytime/mobile calls etc. does anyone know?

Sky have said that they will be un-bundling people later this year. This will make it harder to move away from Sky if you change your mind.

    Quote:
This year we will focus on driving attachment of our Sky Talk product to Sky Broadband through bundled pricing, meaning that every new broadband customer will generate positive contribution. In the second half of our 2009 financial year we will move to full unbundling, which, after initial migration fees, directly reduces third party network costs.

i rang to cancel yesterday to see if I could get the mse discount, they offered me the sky talk line rental for free for 12mths if I moved from BT
  • Do you also get 3 months free unlimited broadband? I mean does it mean you dont have to pay for the BB for 3 months in conjunction with free 3 months line rental?
  • I got offered 12 months free line rental from sky when movng from BT in december, unfortunately BT have now decided to take i upon themselves to take my line rental back to them though  hopefully sky will still honur this offer when I finally get my line back with them
