restricted account

hey people
ive had my account restricted for 30days....
its comes up with this message...
Access to your eBay account has been indefinitely restricted for repeated breaches of our Seller Non-Performance policy.
it says i have 30days to sort it out, and to go through the dispute procedure stuff.
only thing is i have no disputes.
just 1 negative feedback, and 3 neutrals, and a load of positives....
what can i do to get my account back?
or will i be better off just making a new account with a new card and details?
thanks

oh yeh im now at 98.6% if that makes a difference.
with 1 negative ever, and 3 neutrals ever. i think i was at 98.4% when it got restricted.

Are the negs and neutrals recent as seller performance is usually based on previous 30 days (give or take a week). It also includes any other warnings on your seller dashboard including listing violations, general complaints, and also stars in any category below 4.4.

Wait for the alloted time and then jump throught the hoops etc and do what ebay want to do to get your account up and running again. Do not be tempted to open a new account or trade in any way on ebay whilst suspended as that will automatically give you a lifetime ban.

Incidentally once reinstated it might be worth slamming up a lot of low cost items for a quick sale to get some more positive feedback and betetr stars. ideally you want to be able to list and sell within a day of reinstatement and to get 5* across the board, so sell at cost if necessary, consider free postage etc. Otherwise it is a catch 22 situation and when re assessed you will fail again and be suspended again. A few good sales will get you away again and then you can go back to your normal stcok.

  • Thats the thing soolin, they want me to contact sellers, and sort out any disputes.
There are no disputes, just feedbacks...
I had the 3 neutrals for slow postage over xmas, which was my fault.
And the neg was for sending the wrong item accidentally, but the buyer never emailed me, just negged me - or i would have sorted it out immediately. have tried contacting since but to no avail...
    No idea what to do...

Can I suggest that just in case you double check your dispute console both on ebay and on paypal. There is a chance that there is an erroneous message somewhere that got caught in your spam mail.

Sorry, can I just clarify you are primarily a seller, in the last post you mention talking to your sellers .

  • Sorry, i meant buyers.
They want me to contact buyers and sort out disputes with them.
Ive double checked, and have no disputes anywhere, paypal or ebay.
    Really annoying.
Im lost as what to do.
  • Sounds to me like the neg and neutrals are the problem.
Not sure you can do much about the neutrals, but if you jump through hoops over the neg, you might be able to get it sorted out, and perhaps they will revise their feedback.

I'm thinking 'disputes' might not be the literal meaning here - more 'disgruntled buyers'

Also, if you have any buyers who haven't left feedback (and aren't likely to be cheesed off about posting delays) you could very, very very politely ask them to leave feedback. That might help.
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j

Thanks faye, will do that with feedback, its already gone back up 0.2% so hopes itll be all good. I thought ebaying were only restricting accounts that went below 98% though? Mine was 98.4% at worst.
    Thanks anyway

It isn't just feedback anymore it is a combination of stars and other seller problems on the dashboard. What are your stars like in all the categories?
