Hello Everyone,
I'm throwing this open to all you experts out there in the hope of great advice !
I have £11k savings after leaving the military ( saved it since 1991 )which I'm desperate to gain on.
I've had it sat in my Egg account for 6 months without touching it, making about £30 per month. I now want to just put it away in an account for as long as I can. I would love to spend it, but after getting in to Martins way of thinking I'm willing to sacrifice it in order to have a nest egg for my daughter who is 4.
What is uncertain is just when you might need to dip in ? I am certain I wont but you never know, but if the growth was good enough I'd just write it off to an account and forget about it ( can't beleive I'm saying this )for as long as possible.
So can anyone advise me of the best and simplest way to make money on my money ?
