Reclaiming PPI

Options
i got a loan for a laptop with HFC at the time we said we didnt want PPI and on our paper work it says NO next to having PPI but were being charged for it, we only found this out as my partner whos name the loan is in got made redundant.
he found a job straight away so im guessing as soon as you find a job they will stop paying for it if we did use our PPI?
If we try to reclaim i wondered what we can ask for?
we pay about £3.50 extras for PPI a month for the last 18months so it doesnt add up to much so wanted to know if we can demand they stop interest for an amount of time as contract was broken or do i get extra compensation and can i ask for any late payment fees back also?
we still own £744.98 at 21.5% we only borrowed 626.97 so were still paying off interest!!!!
HELP

    Hi there
I may not be able to answer all of this but hopefully someone will.

If you have a made a claim, unfortunately to my knowledge your unable to reclaim on the PPI.

But to check what your covered for, have you still the terms and conditions of the policy?
if not request for a copy of this, or you may be able to check this out online, they have a website, although these covers will vary I think it would be best to contact them for a copy if you've not have these any longer.

You could always also ask them to send you calculations of what you explained above, tell them its confusing and you would like to know how they work this out.;)

Good luck and hopefully someone will post up soon who may understand how this works.
