Hi, I am sorry if this is a really silly question but I know absolutely nothing about shares.
I have my latest tax voucher in front of me (all other paperwork is filed) and it says:
Tax Voucher
TESCO PLC
Ordinary Shares of 5p each
Holding 396
I have looked up the price of tesco shares and it says 357.75 as the latest price. So what are my shares worth? I am confused does 357.75 mean £3.57 each or 3.57p each - obviously there is a big difference!
