I need to buy a new printer. Only need it for home use. Not too much needed to be done on it.
Any suggestions as to what may be suitable and best places to purchase from? Had HP and Lexmark previously. Must say prefer the HP as being more reliable.

Have a look at printers at eBuyer - http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?rb=15747286186&action=c2hvd3N1YmNhdGVnb3J5X3NlYXJjaA==&cat_uid=13&stid=4
3-in-1 printers from Epson are very good for their price - they have a scanner, photocopier and printer in one unit.
If you don't think you will need that then have a look at normal Epson inkjets which are very good as well.
Just make sure you can get compatible ink from http://www.choicestationary.co.uk or http://www.northdevoncomputers.com as it is much cheaper than original epson inks.0 -
If you just require black & white printing buy a laser printer. They are far cheaper to run - inkjets are a rip off0

Never had any problems with the budget samsung laser printers available from ebuyer - also the consumables for these are not to badly priced. Off the top of my head these come in around the £50-60 mark0

Has it got replacement toner and drum separately?
Have you got a model number etc. so I can have a look?0 -
Ebuyer was virtually giving away some laser printers recently, asking abt £40.
I just buy bottles of toner refill, they've worked ok so far, easier than inkjets and they're not difficult.0
