  • As I said on last months thread the achievements that you all have are far greater than mine ever could be as basically I only buy the stuff that is wanted by myself and the kids rather than needed. I do pay out for Brownies and the reason for the large NSD's is the cost of a Haven holiday plus petrol and spending money for me and the kids when I am there.

I am actually trying to achieve 132 days straight in total and today is day 28! I manage it through not going to the shops that much and really seriously cutting out what I don't need. Sweets and chocolate bars at 50p a time aren't needed, espescially when you have about 9 stone to lose, I don't eat take out anymore, all those sale bargains that if you think about it aren't really that necessary etc, etc. Myself and the kids don't want for anything food and shelter are paid for by the DH and they have enough toys and clothes to open a second hand store. If we feel the need to shop, we have a pet on facebook called Norma and we spend virtual money on her. She is cirrently sporting a very nice Ox outfit, trousers shirt hat gloves and everything:).
    Loving the dtd thread. x
