have to go into task manager to get on the internet

Hi i had a prob a few days ago where my comp restarted got to home page then restarted again had to press f12 to stop it doing it but everytime i shut it down i would have to doit again. i wrote on here and was told to do a virus scan forfree on the net which i did came back with 3 viruses then after i started it back up agin everything has gone no start button or anything just the pic of the sea and palm tree i have to go into task manager and press new task then type google in thats the only thing i can do please help . is this something that can be fixed ?:eek: :mad:

Reboot and keep pressing F8 to get safe mode up
Select SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING
Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD NOW')

rite ive been trying to get into safe mode for about 1 hour its driving me mad have you got any ideas?. i hold f8 down as soon as i have pressed the on button ive held it down 4 ages then all i get it a long tone then it just goes to the home page. ive tried tapping it till my hand nearly came off (WHAT AM I DOING WRONG) . ive downloaded malware its scanning now will post back soon thanx .:confused: [strike]Nik[/strike]:confused:0

your a genius thanx ive got everything back i didnt have to go into safemode afterall. thankgod for that i cant afford a new laptop. i heard you can get free anti virus somewhere do you know where and which is best one to get ? whats the malwarebytes one i know it fixed my comp but will it protect it now ive downloaded it?. I have norton but it came free withlaptop and ive never renewed it cos im a moneysaver and im tight lol couldyou help my comp is in a right state poop ups everywhere lool thanx:confused: [strike]Nik[/strike]:confused:0

There's lots of free av software about - Have a look at Avast it's one of my favourites. For a software firewall, use either Zonealarm or (preferably) comodo.If I have helped in any way, and you feel like it - please press the thanks button:beer:0
