Travel Insurance for over 80's

Hello...my mum ..81 in February... is planning a trip to Australia for my cousin's wedding in April. The problem is that the travel insurance is going to cost almost as much as her flight!!!! Has anyone got any suggestions as to a company that will insure the over 80's for a reasonable price...She also wants to stay for longer than 31 days which seems to be the standard trip allowed for this age group.Mind you...she is fitter than me !!!! Thanks

When we went abroad with parents last year (over 80) we insured with Egg who go up to 86 for single trip.

Of course this does not include any pre-existing conditions and most people of that age have some.
