Mandmdirect refunds

Has anybody else recently had problems when returning purchases to mandmdirect for a refund?
The last two orders which i have made with them have been a bit of a disaster really. Half of the items i thought i purchased turned out to be out of stock, even though they were in my basket. On both occassions i had at least 2 items which were wrongly picked and the wrong sizes sent and i had to return some items from the order as they sent the wrong thing altogether.
So in December i returned the first parcel for a refund, which was to the value of about £70. I heard nothing for about 3 weeks (busy time i thought) then i called them to query the returned parcel. The customer service lady told me that yes they have recieved the parcel and that they had credited my account. I said to the lady that's strange i usually recieve a cofirmation from yourselves confirming the refund, which i have not recieved yet. She said that the money had been returned and it was a glitch in the system. I know i should have checked my statements earlier, but there has been no refund made to me by mandmdirect for these returned items.
Also earlier this month i returned another parcel to the value of about £50, for the same reasons as before. Last week i got an email saying that my refund had been processed. I decided to check out my bank account and yes there was a refund, but the refund is only for the value of £4.88, which incidently is the value of one of the t shirts which i ordered. I seem to be missing £45 from the refund total.
The service which i have recieved from Mandmdirect in the past has been excellent and i can't fault them really, but over the last 2 months i appear to be £105 out of pocket.
I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has had any problems recently.
I'll speak to customer services later and chase the missing payments up.

I've just had my order from mandm and i'm really quite annoyed, i bought and paid for 3 items with a £3.95 p&p charge. I don't have spare money to be wasting on delivery but as i was getting 3 items it didn't seem as bad.
However i got my parcel today to find only 1 item i ordered was actually in stock. I would have never agreed to buying a tshirt and justifying the p&p cost for that one thing. Surely they should be notifying customers before dispatch that items are out of stock?

That happened to me - I ordered about 12 items - all checked out fine (so postage was worth the £3.90) and all I got was a small wallet worth £1.94
I spoke to a nice lady at CS who said to send it back with a covering letter saying that I wouldnt of ordered just one thing had I known etc etc and then they should refund for the item plus the postage. Sent mine back yesterday so will wait and see what happens........:smileyheaGot married in beautiful Sorrento 11th May 2010:smileyhea0
