SCI FI Channel Europe LLC's ‘Win With Medium on SCI FI’ Competition Rules
1. This competition ("the Competition") is organised and administered by SCI FI Channel Europe LLC ("SCI FI").
2. All Competition entries must comply with these terms and conditions ("the Competition Rules"). Entries which do not comply with the Competition Rules will not be accepted.
3. The Competition opens on 26 January 2009 and closes at Midnight 11 March 2009.

Competition eligibility
4. Entry is open to residents of the United Kingdom only. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over. Employees of SCI FI and Universal Orlando® Resort and any of their associated companies and members of any of their immediate families and households are not eligible to enter the Competition.
5. Each entrant must submit an e-mail entry online at www.scifi.co.uk and must include his/her full name, telephone number, age, address details, email address and the correct answer to the competition trivia question. Only one entry per person will be accepted. Entries must be received by SCI FI before the close of the Competition. Late entries, incomplete entries or fraudulent entries will not be accepted.
6. SCI FI does not accept any responsibility for entries submitted but not received. Proof of submitting is not proof of receipt.
7. The Competition winner will be notified by email and/or post as soon as is practicable following the determination of the Competition. If a prize is not claimed within two weeks of notification then the unclaimed prize will be deemed forfeited and SCI FI reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.
8. By entering the Competition you are warranting to SCI FI that all information supplied by you is true, current and complete.

Competition prize
9. The competition winner will be selected by SCI FI at random from all correct competition entries received.
10. The competition prize is a one week holiday for the winner and up to three (3) companions to Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida, the United States of America, consisting of each of the following: - Four (4) roundtrip airfares (economy fares only) from Heathrow or Gatwick Airports to Orlando, Fl. - non-exclusive ground transfers between hotel and airport in Orlando - seven (7) nights on-site hotel accommodation at the Hard Rock Hotel®, room and tax only, for up to four (4) people in a maximum of one (1) room - four (4) x 7-Day/2-Park Admissions to both Universal Studios Florida® and Universal's Islands of Adventure® theme parks (together "the Prize"). The Prize has a fair market value of $8,047.75 USD. There are no runner-up prizes.
11. All travel must be completed by 11 March 2010, and all elements of the Prize must be redeemed at the same time. If winner is between the ages of 18 and 21 he/she must be accompanied by an adult of at least 21 years of age or older in order to check into the on-site hotel. All minor travelling companions must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Winners and companions must travel at the same time and must depart from the same city. Universal reserves the right to change the name of all tickets. The Prize may be subject to additional terms, conditions, limitations or restrictions imposed by the service provider or related third parties ("Third Party Rules", including without limitation any travel or visa requirements and age or height restrictions for theme park rides). The Competition winner and his/her companions agree to familiarise themselves with and comply with any applicable Third Party Rules.
12. The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable for cash or any other goods or services, and is not available for re-sale.
13. SCI FI reserves the right to cancel or to substitute any part of the Prize with a prize of similar nature or value if the original prize or a part of it is not available for any reason.

General terms and conditions
14. Neither SCI FI nor Universal Orlando Resort and none of their related companies, officers, employees or agents will be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss, loss of sales, business or data, lost profits or loss of goodwill) suffered or sustained by the winner and/or his or her companions in connection with the Competition or the use or redemption of any prize (except and only to the extent that such liability cannot be excluded by law). For avoidance of doubt, all travel and participating in any theme park rides will be entirely at the risk of the Competition winner and his/her companions.
15. You hereby agree that SCI FI may use personal information you supply in your Competition entry for the purposes of administering the Competition, to notify you if you are the Competition winner, and for any specific purposes to which you consent when entering the Competition. SCI FI will only use your personal information for these purposes and only in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
16. In addition to the above, you acknowledge and agree that SCI FI, Universal Orlando Resort and any of their affiliated organisations may identify you as the winner of the competition, if applicable, by publishing your name on a website and/or in a list of competition winners and in any associated press or public relations releases concerning the Competition.
17. Neither SCI FI nor Universal Orlando Resort will be responsible for any expenses apart from those stated in these Competition Rules.
18. Prizes must be redeemed in the manner required under these Competition Rules and in accordance with any Third Party Rules or other reasonable requirements imposed by SCI FI. If the Competition winner fails to redeem any portion of a prize in accordance with these Competition Rules then that portion of the prize will be forfeited. The Competition winner will not be awarded cash in lieu of forfeited prizes.
19. Any references to a person or an organisation in the Competition Rules or in connection with the Competition should not be construed as an endorsement of that person or organisation or as a representation that SCI FI has any affiliation or association with such person or organisation.
20. SCI FI may disqualify an entrant if it believes the entrant has breached any of the Competition Rules.
21. If any dispute arises regarding the Competition - whether relating to results, eligibility or the Competition Rules generally - the decision of SCI FI will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into with entrants.
22. SCI FI reserves the right to amend these terms or to cancel the Competition at any stage thereof or otherwise vary the Competition without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside its control.
23. The Competition and these Competition Rules will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes arising under or in relation to these Competition Rules will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
