It might say this but when I try placing an order by PayPal it still insists that I have to pay £5+VAT delivery - so when is this actually deducted? You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0

Just placed an order for £30.52 inc VAT, paid by credit card and received free delivery
The free delivery was shown in the shopping basket before it asked me how I wanted to payOnly time will tell if I am right or they are wrong0 -

You have to go through the Paypal link. Log in to your Paypal account and you'll see there's a 'Special Offers for Paypal' box on the top right. Misco will only accept Paypal payments from CONFIRMED Paypal accounts. I ordered Sunday and got my bits 1st Class post this morning!0 -

Yep,same for me...
What you have to do to get free delivery when paying via CC is to go through the link http://www.misco.co.uk/specialoffers/paypal and then add whatever to your basket. When you checkout it will say you've qualified for free delivery and will still allow you to pay using your CC.
If you just go to Misco website via www.misco.co.uk then you'll be prompted for delivery method and will therefore be charged for it.

Depending on how expensive the item is, you might be better off going through Quidco to get 5% off.
For example if buying a £175 item (inc. VAT), 5% off £180.88 (£175 plus shipping) = £171.84
Assuming it's only free shipping on the cheapest option (£5.88 inc. VAT) your item would need to be less than £111.72* for it to be better value than going through Quidco.
Hope this helps.
Tom
*£111.72 + £5.88 shipping = £117.60, 5% of which = £5.88-- £2 coin savers club = £90 (£84 banked) --0 -

Email arrived headed "order request" showing free delivery no problem
Email arrived headed "order aknowledgement" (after goods had been dispatched) showing £5.00 delivery charge, problem
Items arrived no problem
MSE'ers beware, I have sent email to Misco, refuse to use their 0870 number, that was yesterday and their silence has been deafening
I would be interested to know how others have faredOnly time will tell if I am right or they are wrong0 -
