best cable for usb epson r300 printer?

Should I buy argos usb cable that connects to the back of the r300 printer at a cost of £12.99 here

Or would it work any different also cheaper to buy and use the usb at the front called the extention?

Different cables are required by the look of things.

Whats the best way to connect front or back?

Disappointed not to get a cable with it.

Any thoughts?

You would need a USB A to B cable to connect it to your PC. (plug in the back)
I would imagine the front connector is to connect a camera or other device.
Dont pay that price from Argos. You could get it online from someone like Ebuyer for a couple of quid. If you need it urgently, Tescos or Asda will sell the cable at a lot less than Argos or PC World.

Have you tried your local pound shop? £12.99 for a usb cable is a rip off even B&Q had them cheaper last time I looked. As said you need a a-b cable.
