Abbey waved part of the charge

Thought I'd share...
I incurred £60 in charges for writing a cheque which took me overdrawn (for 2 days over xmas, urgh!). I paid it off as soon as I saw the debt, but the damage was done.
The statement I received on 07/01/09 said I would be charged £25 as a monthly charge, and £35 for some other reason and those charges would be applied on 24/01/09.
Not wanting to wait around, I sent off my claim there and then.
Just had a letter through saying that they're waving the £35 charge as I 'obviously know how to manage my account' (thanks for your approval  ). Looked at my account today and seen they've done just that.
Not sure if it'll happen for everyone but though it was worth telling you all about!
