I've used https://www.pixum.co.uk for some time now - always been quick, reliable and the quality is superb. Offering 20 free prints at the moment but always have some offer or other on.0

Just had my first pix back from Photodeal...
20 free 6"x4.5" and two at 12"x9" @ £2.49 ea
Quality of all is excellent - in fact on placing the order I got the following warning message for the 12x9 (from a 2MP camera)
"The resolution of this picture is too low for this format. You can still order it, but please note that its quality would be less than perfect. " It looks fine to me!
Incidentally, not all the companies offer true digital photo aspect ratio's, resulting in some pictures being cropped.
For example 6x4 and 12x8 are 3:2 aspect ratio, as used in 35mm photography.
Digital images use TV/monitor aspect ratio of 4:3, hence image sizes of 6x4.5 or 12x9. If you order 6x4, then you will lose 1/2" from the edges. Either that or there will be white bands , or these will be cropped off to leave a 5.3x4 print.0 -
Thank you for this0

This is definately the case with Pixum, their sizes can be a bit strange so you need to be aware of the aspect ratio. Also don't order the playing cards unless you want a 32 deck pack.0

I know they are free ....but.....the quality wasn't too good from snapfish!
chalkybear wrote:Agree with above. If I'd have paid for them I'd be furious.
Perhaps I was just lucky (or perhaps you were unlucky) but I used Snapfish a couple of weeks ago when they had the 1p/photo offer on and the quality was great - especially since in my rush to beat the deadline I didn't even have time to touch up any of my photos before transmitting.0 -

10 free prints (plus p&p)
If you choose the option to get the photos delivered to your local Jessops store, then there's no charge for postage ... meaning 10 totally free prints !0 -
Kodak Gallery are giving new subscribers 10 free prints.0

My experiences...
mypixmania -- because they use a courier service, it needs a signature on delivery. Due to a mixup, it took two weeks to get the photos! Good quality though.
photobox -- uploaded images on Thursday night, and they arrived (vis Royal Mail) Saturday morning! Good quality.0 -
Do you have to download a separate program for each company? How do you upload the pics?0
