IN SHOCK! British Gas have reduced payments

I was just thinking the other day that the time had come to complain to British Gas about my rather large direct debit payments, when totally out of the blue this morning I get a letter from them cutting my monthly payments from £52 to £30 AND they're crediting my bank account with £70.......I'm going to have a lie down with a large gin and tonic! :T

For many years my direct debit to BG has been too small or too large, So ---

Year 1, I build up a deficit: DD is increased: Year 2, I build up a surplus: I get paid back the surplus if over £100: DD is decreased: Year 3, I build up a deficit etc etc.

This year I got back £163.

If my experience is anything to go by, you will get this excuse for a large G & T every second year!

Mine are on £16 per month at the moment but my boyfriends are on £4 a month. I dont know how he does it because he has gas central heating and cooks on gas
