Yes, thankfully the deposit was placed in a safe scheme. Although they only gave us details 5 months after we moved in and kept on at that.
And you should see their working out sheet, full of errors. They are missing a £200 cheque we gave them. They have one months rent, minus £25 for some reason and then the total (they owe us...) is over by £30. Yes, they are certainly something else.
One of the LA owners just returned our morning call and said that they had spoken to the LL and he's maintaining he bank transferred it in Friday so it should be with them tomorrow. I have this horrible feeling that if the LL got the same copy of the working out sheet that we did, he's going to keep shtum and give us their estimation which is £200 short but £30 too much.:: BCSC #71 but now discharged! ::0
