Good Morning MSEs
I'm interesting in a 3-Bed Semi-Detached house in a new development. The house is adjoined on the left by another house. However, on the right, there is a road giving vehicle access to cul-de-sac at the rear of the property. There is no pedestrian pavement, curb or anything on the right side of the property. The road adjoins the right side of the house. Even the front pavement appears to have been cut at an angle giving the impression drivers can cut this corner to the road and thus gain access to the housing behind.
Am I being paranoid here? Should this be of major concern? I'd welcome your feedback or experiences.
Many thanks

How big is the cul-de-sac, if it contains just a few houses then its probably not a major concern. If however it provides access to othe roads or has the potential to in the future you might be more wary.
As to the front pavement are you afraid it makes the house look unbalanced? or are you afraid anyone taking the corner too fast will end up on the lawn? A small hedge could tidy the appearance.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
