I bought a fairly cheap Tesco toaster 9 months ago and this weekend the bread lifting mechanism jammed. It could have been my fault and, in any case I no longer had a receipt to prove date of purchase, so after looking around I bought a replacement from Tesco Bridgend. Just as I was leaving I mentioned why I was buying it. The assistant told me to bring in the old toaster and they would exchange which they did this morning. Quite impressed!
