Where did they create the link? For example if you had a joint account they would link the two of you. If this joint account still exists post BR then technically you would still be linked as I understand it..0

when i tried the experian 30 day free trial, i stupidly ticked the box to link myself and spouse together, then he had a letter stating i had requested this info be held on our credit files.
He is not happy. So i have a letter wrote to experian to remove the financial link.0 -
i have tried any other credit reference agencies as i do not have a bank account and cannot apply for a free trial.0

Geministar,
I dont know if youve found the addresses for the three main credit ref. agencies yet but they are:-
Experian,
Consumer Help Services,
PO Box 8000,
Nottingham NG1 5GX
Equifax, Plc.
Credit File Advice Centre
PO Box 1140
Bradford
BD1 5US
Callcredit Limited
One Park Lane
Leeds
West Yorkshire
LS3 1EP
I think they all charge £2 for the info which you can send as a Postal order, then once you have it, you can send another letter back disputing any incorrect info.0 -
i have just wrote to experian for now as that was the one i registered with and stated to have us linked financially.
WE have no joint accounts or anything, so there is no reason we would be linked elsewhere.
Do the credit agencies pass on information to the other agencies?
Thanks for all the advice.0
