Aquadart shower

Hi. I have an Aquadart shower fitted - present when i moved in 3 years ago - which works off the hot and cold water tanks. It has always had a lovely pressure and temperature but is now decidedly chilly. Any ideas?

Having searched around the net I have a feeling that this is now defunct. What should I replace it with. I would rather not have an electric shower due to the fitting cost.
