hi everyone,
our local woolworths closed down and surprise surprise...Tesco have taken over and will be opening a store soon.
Anyways, work is still going on so how do i apply ? I have checked their website and it says for in store jobs you have to visit in person.
so should i wait when it opens then go in for a application form ? does anyone have experience ?
thanks in advance.

When you say work is still going on do you mean its not open yet, if so then yes id wait until the store opens, id get down there for the time they open on the open day0

personally i would say you need to get in before the store opens, as when it is open they have there staff. why not visit another tescos that is close and get an application form there
good luck0 -

Take a closer look at the store and see if there is any posters regarding hiring
if not then ask at the next closest branch as they might know more about it0 -
you definately need to get in before it opens - we have a tesco metro opening locally and it is still completely gutted at the mo, but there was a write up about it in our local paper this week which said they had already employed the staff - i assume so they can train them up at other stores.
I would ring up someone or perhaps try and get someones attention at the store0 -
yes work is still going on, i dont know when it will open.
i will give them a ring and see if they can help further.0 -

or call another store if you have 1 close by0 -
where is it? - i have found the new store opening page on tesco, but only has two listed0

From previous experience, most supermarkets no longer take paper applications. Instead they ask that you do it online. Easier and quicker for them I guess.
Have a look and see if your new local store is listed.
